Fit Quiz is a size recommendation app for Shopify apparel and footwear brands, built by Easysize in Copenhagen. It gives a shopper a personalized size in under 15 seconds, covering size, fit, width and length at product level. Fit Quiz asks no weight questions, takes no body measurements and uses no body scans, and it runs in 20 languages with automatic localization on the product page.
Why does sizing matter for gifting?
Sizing for someone else is the single biggest thing that stops a gift purchase in apparel. The gifter does not know the size, does not want to get it wrong, and takes the safe option instead. That safe option is usually a gift card, which means a smaller order, and around 60% of gift cards are never redeemed at all.
Fit Quiz recreates the conversation a shop assistant would have in a store. Six to seven questions for apparel, six to eight for footwear, with only one measurement question, which is height. Merchants can edit the wording, so a gifting version asks what size they usually wear rather than what size you wear.

Install both apps
Install Giftnote and Fit Quiz from the Shopify App Store. There is no connection step between them and no developer work.
Build your gifting collection
Create a gift collection and a gifting landing page with filters by price and occasion. This is the page the gifter lands on, and most stores do not have one.
Put Fit Quiz on that page
Fit Quiz integrates on collection and landing pages, not only product pages. Add a quiz button per category so a gifter can size a top and a dress separately.
Reword the quiz for gifters
Fit Quiz question wording is editable. Change "What size do you usually wear?" to "What size do they usually wear?" so the flow reads correctly for someone buying for another person.
Add Giftnote where intent is highest
Place the Giftnote gift message widget on the product page, cart, checkout or post-checkout. Checkout keeps your storefront light while still capturing the gift.
