About Klaviyo Integration
Giftnote connects to Klaviyo through Klaviyo's Track API, identifying and syncing profiles for both the customer who places a gift order and the recipient who receives it. Gift recipients who would normally never reach your list sync to Klaviyo as profiles and can opt in to your marketing.
Every gift moment is a trigger: placed, delivered, received and redeemed. Giftnote sends events for gift orders, gift cards, store credit and Multi Gift orders, and each one can start a Klaviyo flow. Use them to send senders order confirmations and to deliver branded gift messages, eGift cards and redemption follow-ups to recipients. Send test events before you rely on a flow.
Because each event carries sender, recipient, product, and voucher context, you can segment audiences precisely and build retention flows that treat gift senders and gift recipients as the distinct, high-value customers they are.
How to Get Started
Connect Klaviyo to Giftnote in just a few steps
Connect Giftnote to Klaviyo
In your Shopify admin open Giftnote → Settings → Integrations, click Configure, then Connect. Approve the permissions in Klaviyo to link your account.
Send test events
Reopen the integration modal and send test events, then confirm they land in Metrics → Activity feed so you know data is flowing.
Build your flows
Use Giftnote's gift events as triggers in Klaviyo to create sender confirmations and recipient gift-message flows — or start from the pre-built templates.
Enable and go live
Head back to the Giftnote admin, switch Klaviyo to enabled, and hit Save. Live gift events now sync to Klaviyo automatically.
