Flare
Delivery date scheduling for Shopify. Let gifters choose the day a present lands, then have Giftnote deliver the message the moment it gets there.
Key Features
A gift that arrives on the right day
Flare lets the gifter choose the delivery date, so a birthday present lands on the birthday instead of four days early.
The message lands with the parcel
Giftnote holds the gift note until the carrier confirms delivery across 1,200+ carriers, so the two arrive together.
Tell the gifter when it will land
Add the Flare delivery date to the Giftnote confirmation email the gifter receives, and stop the "when will it arrive" support ticket before it happens.
Lead times that match the product
Flare sets product-specific lead times, so a hamper made to order and a gift card show different available dates.
Order ahead for the occasion
Gifters buy weeks early for a fixed date. Scheduled delivery is what lets them do it without the gift arriving too soon.

About Flare Integration
Flare is a delivery date picker for Shopify. It lets a customer choose their delivery date at checkout, supports product-specific lead times so a made-to-order item shows different dates to a same-day one, and sets available dates and rates by postcode or region. Flare runs as a native checkout extension on Shopify Plus and as a cart or product page picker on every other Shopify plan.
Why does the delivery date matter more for a gift?
Gifting is the only kind of online shopping where arriving early is a failure. A birthday present that turns up four days before the birthday has spoiled the surprise. A Christmas gift that lands on 19 December sits in a hallway where somebody finds it. Every other order in a store wants to arrive as fast as possible. A gift wants to arrive on one specific day, and most Shopify stores give the customer no way to say which one.
How do Giftnote and Flare work together?
Flare decides when the parcel lands. Giftnote decides what happens at that moment. A Giftnote gift message is held until the carrier confirms delivery, tracked across more than 1,200 carriers, so it reaches the recipient as they are picking the box up rather than days beforehand.
Put those together and a merchant controls the whole moment. The gifter picks the date, the parcel arrives on it, and the branded message lands at the doorstep with the recipient's name on it. Merchants can also add the chosen delivery date to the Giftnote confirmation email the gifter receives, so the sender knows exactly when their gift will land without contacting support.
Do I need to connect the two apps?
No. Giftnote and Flare run alongside each other with no integration and no developer work. No merchant, customer, or gift recipient data moves between them.
How to Get Started
Connect Flare to Giftnote in just a few steps
Install both apps
Install Giftnote and Flare from the Shopify App Store. There is no connection step between them.
Put the date picker where the gift decision happens
If Giftnote sits at checkout, put Flare at checkout too, so the gifter picks the message and the date in the same breath.
Set lead times per product
Made-to-order and perishable gift products need different available dates to standard stock. Set them before peak, not during it.
Add the delivery date to your gifter email
Include the chosen Flare date in the Giftnote order confirmation the sender receives. Most gifting support tickets are the sender asking when it lands.
Open your occasion dates early
Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas all have a single correct delivery date. Make those bookable weeks ahead.
Set your December cutoffs in Flare, not in a banner
A hard date in the picker stops orders you cannot deliver, which is better than an apology email on 24 December.
