Carola Wine + Cider's Sea Spray is a bone-dry, sparkling, natural cider made from hand picked apples sourced from 'forgotten' trees on the Oregon Coast. This flagship cider from Carola is highly drinkable and delicious.
The apples sourced for Sea Spray are harvested from trees throughout Tillamook Country on the Oregon Coast. Cider maker David has spent years caring for trees that were previously abandoned or neglected, including trees on public land and from orchards on old farms in the area. Most of the apples in this blend are early season apples, but additional juice is often added throughout the growing season. Fermented naturally with wild yeast in stainless steel tanks.
Nothing added (no added sulfites) and nothing removed during fermentation - the only ingredients are apples + time. After fermented dry and with some time to age on the fine lees, the cider is bottled with a small amount of the next season's apple juice to naturally carbonate the cider in-bottle, resulting in a slight cloudiness and light sparkle.
