Wild Alaska Spot Prawns are the largest shrimp species in Alaska and are often called the “lobster of Alaska” for their sweet flavor and firm, succulent texture. They are wild-caught and processed in Alaska and frozen at sea in a block to preserve their freshness and texture.
Each 1.5 lb pack contains shell-on, head-off prawns in XL (U20) or Large (21/30) size, and they may contain roe. They cook in just a few minutes and are excellent grilled with garlic butter, sautéed for scampi, or added to pasta and rice bowls.
