About this gift
Three bottles, one box, and a complete picture of what Cooper King Distillery is building in Yorkshire. The Expedition Box brings together the Pioneer Single Malt, the Smoked Cask Single Malt, and the New-Make Malt Spirit in 100ml bottles: enough for four proper serves each, and a genuine tasting journey across three distinct stages of the distillery's whisky making. The set contains:
Pioneer Single Malt Whisky (100ml, 50% Alc.) Cooper King's core Expedition Series release, matured in a complex mix of ex-red wine, ex-rye whiskey, ex-bourbon, and refill sherry casks. Vanilla custard, cola cubes, and baked apple on the nose; ginger biscuits, dried fig, and rye spice on the palate. Bronze Medal, IWSC 2025.
Smoked Cask Single Malt Whisky (100ml, 56.1% Alc.) A cask series release cold-smoked using local fuels. Smoked paprika and coal fire on the nose; salted caramel and dark chocolate on the palate. The boldest expression in the set.
New-Make Malt Spirit (100ml, 47% Alc.) Unaged spirit straight from Cooper King's 900-litre Tasmanian copper pot still: mango, apple, sweet barley, and toffee pennies. A window into the distillery's process before time in cask.
