About Shopify POS Integration
Extend gifting to your physical stores with Shopify POS. Staff can add a branded gift message or issue an eGift card and store credit at the counter, bridging in-store and digital gifting.

How to Get Started
Connect Shopify POS to Giftnote in just a few steps
Turn on Giftnote's Shopify Flow triggers and action
In Shopify Admin, open Apps > Flow and start a new workflow. Giftnote exposes six Flow triggers — "Order Message created" (when an order is created with a message), "Order Message delivered" (when an order message is sent to the recipient), "Store Credit issued" (when store credit is issued), "Gift card created" (when a gift card is purchased without a message), "Gift card message created" (when a gift card is purchased with a message), "Gift card message delivered" (when a gift card message has been sent to the recipient) — plus one Flow action for adding store credit, requiring Email address and Value, with optional Expiry (in months from issue) and Activity Id. Giftnote documents only this one action.
Detect in-store (POS) orders with Shopify's own Order created trigger
Shopify's Flow template library ships a ready-made template named "Tag orders created on Point of Sale (POS)" (described as: "Learn how to check if an order was created via a Point of Sale app"), built on the native Order created trigger, which lets you branch a workflow based on whether an order originated from the Point of Sale app. This is a Shopify-side capability, not something Giftnote built for POS.
