Stolpman Vineyards - Love You Bunches Red 2023 750ml

About this gift

Love You Bunches Red 2023 is a vibrant and energetic expression of Sangiovese from the renowned Stolpman Vineyards. Situated in the limestone-rich soils of the Ballard Canyon AVA, this wine represents a playful evolution in winemaking. The team uses a technique known as carbonic maceration to create this "So Fresh" bottling. Instead of crushing the grapes immediately, the whole clusters are placed in sealed tanks. This allows fermentation to begin inside the berries, preserving fresh fruit aromas and creating a light, joyous texture.

The 2023 vintage was shaped by a cool growing season and a warm October. This allowed the estate-grown fruit to reach optimal ripeness while retaining high acidity. In the glass, the wine shows a bright, high-toned red color. The palate is a rush of tart fruit flavors, led by zesty rhubarb and crisp cranberry. It possesses a crackling energy that rides through the mouth with verve.

While this red is undeniably fun and "mashable," it maintains a serious structural backbone. Firm tannins provide a pleasant grip that balances the racy acidity. It is certified organic and biodynamic, ensuring that the farming respects the land.
