Part of their "So Fresh" series, this wine uses a unique carbonic fermentation method typically reserved for light red wines. The winemaking team places whole, uncrushed grape clusters into sealed tanks for seven days. This allows fermentation to begin inside the berries, preserving fresh fruit aromas and ensuring a gentle extraction of texture without harsh bitterness.
The 2023 vintage features a thoughtful blend of four grape varieties grown in Santa Barbara County. Pinot Gris provides a rich base and copper hue, while Tocai Friulano adds texture and brightness. The addition of Gewurztraminer and a touch of tropical Orange Muscat contributes exotic aromatics. The wine is pressed from the skins early and aged in neutral wood to soften the edges while keeping the focus on purity.
