About this gift
Some names change the shape of what is possible. Kamala Harris became the first woman, the first Black American, and the first South Asian American to serve as Vice President of the United States, and in 2024 she became the first Black woman to lead a major party's presidential ticket. This 100-piece puzzle turns that history into something you can hold, sort, and build at the kitchen table.
The artwork is a warm chibi-style illustration: oversized expressive features, a signature blue pantsuit, pearl earrings, and hands planted confidently on the hips, all set against a torn-paper backdrop of stars and stripes. It is playful and affectionate rather than formal, which is exactly what makes it work as a shared activity. Children recognize her immediately. Adults recognize the moment.
At 100 pieces and 10 inches square when finished, this puzzle sits in a sweet spot. It is quick enough to complete in one sitting, which keeps younger builders engaged and gives new puzzlers an early win. Recommended for ages 6 and up, it makes an easy invitation to sit down with a child or grandchild, work the border together, and talk about why this face matters.
