Bernabeleva Camino de Navaherreros Blanco comes from the historic Bernabeleva estate, situated in San Martín de Valdeiglesias at the edge of Spain’s Sierra de Gredos mountains in Vinos de Madrid. Bernabeleva’s vineyards lie at high elevations on granitic sandy soils, with a climate marked by warm days and cool nights—conditions that favor freshness, elegance, and pronounced aromatics in the wines.

Bernabeleva was founded in 1923 by physician Vicente Álvarez-Villamil, the estate’s name means “bear’s forest,” a nod to ancient Celtic stone carvings found in the area. Bernabeleva’s modern legacy began in 2006 when Vicente’s great-grandchildren revived the dream of crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines from these unique vineyards.
