From Paper to Pixels: Frameology Transforms its Gifting Experience with Giftnote

Overcoming Operational Hurdles
  1. Frameology’s physical printed gift cards increased their operational expenses. 
  2. Physical printing complicated the fulfillment process, particularly during peak seasons.
  3. Human errors in the production and delivery of gift messages were more prone in busy periods, poorly affecting the gift receiver’s experience.

As a high-volume gifting business Frameology’s reliance on physically printed messages and standard Shopify vouchers was causing an operational bottleneck. 

The main issues happened during peak periods when manual errors often occurred in the production and delivery of gift messages.

The physical printing of gift messages was also costly, particularly as Frameology expanded its warehouses.

“Adding this one step of physical printing creates so much complexity in the fulfilment process. We’ve had instances where people would get the wrong gift note or completely miss out," said Ben. 

Frameology needed a solution to reduce the cost and complexity of its fulfillment process while ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Upon discovering Giftnote, Ben quickly recognised its potential. "I loved the concept of Giftnote," he said.

"I see a million of these ‘hey this is going to be a better version of this part of what you do’, and I thought Giftnote was awesome. Right away, I saw the value.”

Beyond Standard Features: Custom Integration of Gifnote into Frameology’s Digital Experience

Giftnote's team worked closely with Frameology, going beyond the out-of-the-box features to custom integrate Gifnote into Frameology's website. 

At a cart level, you can add a gift message through Giftnote. But instead of using Giftnote’s out-of-the-box features, Frameology wanted this completely customised. Giftnote helped them create this as part of their white glove implementation support.

While you can use Giftnote’s out-of-the-box feature of message notifications (email/sms), Frameology opted to create their own using Gifnote’s Klaviyo integration giving them more control over the look and feel when sending from their own domain.

Giftnote was able to custom integrate into their website, not only providing a seamless customer experience but also lifting the load off Frameology's production floor.

The customisation didn't stop there. 

Frameology's recent collaboration with The Knot, a wedding registry website, also required a unique setup. Frameology needed a way to send the gift voucher to the recipient in an automated fashion. 

So the Giftnote team stepped up to the challenge, building this functionality into Giftnote’s backend to give Frameology the ability to do that. With this new functionality, Frameology could efficiently manage a list of voucher recipients from The Knot, ensuring the gift message could be sent in a custom-designed email created in Klaviyo.

This not only provided a better overall gifting experience for Frameology but showcased the versatility of Giftnote’s system in meeting a range of client needs.

Frameology’s 160% ROI within 30 days

Within 30 days of installation, Frameology was already seeing a 160% ROI from its investment in Giftnote. They saw a high volume of gift notes, 1053, identifying over $66,000 in gifted revenue.

Among these gifts, 94% of the gift recipients represented potential new customers engaging with the brand for the first time upon receiving their gift. This is a great opportunity for nurturing these leads and driving conversions for Frameology.

With Giftnote now fully integrated, Frameology kept up its high-quality gifting experience, all while simplifying its internal processes. And the cherry on top —Frameology now has the ability to automatically send out gift vouchers purchased from The Knot, complete with custom gift messages and custom-designed emails.

Future Momentum: Frameology Eyes Efficient Growth with Giftnote’s Klaviyo Integration

As Frameology continues to expand, they are looking forward to the potential benefits of Giftnote's Klaviyo integration, particularly the ability to identify and capture gift recipients and legally opt them into Frameology's customer database.
